SparkTroops

Privacy Policy

This policy covers this website, sparktroops.org. The SparkTroops platform, where families and volunteers hold accounts, has its own privacy practices — see below.

What this site collects

This website is a static informational site. It sets no cookies, runs no advertising trackers, and asks for no personal information. If we add privacy-respecting analytics later, this section will name the provider and what it measures.

Email you send us

If you email us, we use your address to reply and for nothing else. We keep the correspondence only as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a record of what was agreed. We never sell it, and we never add you to a mailing list unless you ask.

The SparkTroops platform

Registration, enrollment, and member accounts live on the SparkTroops platform atapp.sparktroops.org, which has its own privacy practices and protections designed around children’s data. The same organization, Spark Troops, Inc., runs both — but this website holds none of the platform’s data, and nothing you do here creates a record there.

Donations

Donations are handled by PayPal on PayPal’s own pages, under PayPal’s privacy policy. We never see or store your card details. PayPal tells us who gave and how much, so that we can thank you and send your receipt, and we keep that record for seven years because tax rules require it.

Children’s images

We never publish a recognizable image of a child without a signed photo/media release from their parent or guardian.
